Nipple contraction, post-surgery.

I am 6-weeks post-op and I've noticed that my nipples don't really contract the way they used to.  The left one seems to always be contracted.  Anyone have this experience?  Does it get back to normal with time?

I was wondering that same thing post op do the nipples still go hard when you are cold etc? I guess if they are always contracted that is a good thing right? you wouldnt of had the surgery if you could always keep em hard?
