confused!

i recently got to know what gynecomastia was through a friend... now i happen to be a little overweight too... and yeah now i have started to realize after knowing bout this phenomenon that i may be having it... but even after goin thru loads of literature regarding it... i still cant seem to understand whether or not i have it...
can anybody help me in that regard? and i'd also like to know under which medical field does this come? so that i can visit the relevant doctor too...
