Hey all,

got my surgery booked with Karidis next Thursday  :D
what i need to know is do i need someone to come with me when i leave the hospital after surgery? As I've read a few posts on here stating this but they didnt say nothing to me about it, plus i cant get anyone to come with me on the day as I live pretty far away?

My plan was to come to and from surgery on the same day on the train btw

thanks

Congrats on getting your surgery booked and deciding to go through with it! I've got my consultation booked with Karidis tomorrow.  ;D

Re. having someone to accompany you after surgery I beleive it's completely at your discretion. Many people choose to keep thier decision to have surgery a complete secret and therefore take the whole jouney by themselves, unaccompanied.

My girlfriend is coming with me for the consultation and for the surgery if I decide to go for it - but I think you'll be fine travelling home by yourself afterwards, there's many people on the forum that have done this and said it was fine.

Good luck :)
Had surgery with Dr. Karidis (London, UK) on 23rd July. Wearing tight t-shirts and looking forward to going swimming!
