Your correct they dont  , they are the same as the womens but has no 'boning' or wires intended for shaping.

I was curious and checked out the above referenced link.  It continues to amaze me the number of men with gynecomastia, particularly older guys, who wear bras.  The link provides a list of the bras sold at the site with the opportunity for customers in this case men to provide feedback on the products.  BTW Playtex was the bra of choice for men based on the feedback.  In the spirit of full disclosure I developed gyno as a teenager and have the usual emotional baggage.  About 10 years ago I finally came to terms with my gyno and became comfortable with having breasts.  I'm now 61 and yes I wear a bra.  I'm a 38B and have worn a bra for over 3 years.

Clearly the band size is the most important measurement for a man. Most men will find little difference between the band size and the cup size, so it will be up to personal choice. The table below will give you some idea of what cup sizes are available. You may want to consider the fruit method to help with your decision.

Half lemon - A cup
Half orange - B cup
Half grapefruit - C cup
Half melon - D cup

It is great to hear about other men like myself who really do need the support of a bra. I was kinda disappointed  that herrom stopped the analogy at a D cup. It was just about 4 years ago when I was wearing a D cup then things changed. Now I'm in a 38G. Don't get me wrong, I don't hare having breasts, but I'm in a bra size now that I typically can't find in department stores so I end up shopping in boutiques that carry the larger cup sizes. Even Victotia secrets has tried to fit me and their largest in store cup size is only a DDD. Do I have watermelons? Lol!

ABOY WITHGIRLS at least you can find a boutique.  There are none in 20 miles of me except one and it stocked European lingerie which was out of my price range.  So I am stock with department stores.  Even our Nordstrom's is going away.  Even my Dillard's is carrying only C cups and up but once in while I do find a B cup in a 38.  I have bought 36 C cups but after a while the band really hurts.  I guess I need to grow some.

II'm sorry to hear that. I've only gone to one Dillards and that was out of town. I actually bought a couple of Natori bras. They were both 36H. 

One my local boutiques closed but I heard that someone else is going to open there and sell lingerie again. My other boutique is still going strong. However, most of what they sell is European. Torrid has been great. I would absolutely recommend them. They are medium priced and true to size and probably the most comfortable.

I'm happy that I am losing all this weight, but on the other hand it will cost me a fortune! The bras that I bought when I posted that picture in the post (I'm bigger then I thought) and I'm wearing that black bra that I had just got from my boutique, I am 40 pounds lighter now!

I think it is so funny though when I see those TV ads for weight loss and some women says "I lost 20 pounds and 6 dress sizes" what BS! I'm still wearing the same clothing except it is very baggy and falls off, but not 6 sizes smaller, ever with 40 pounds lost!

It has been a long road, and Debbie is saying I need new clothes, but I say that I'm not getting any for another 25 or 30 pounds lost lol or it a waste of money! At $75-$100.00 per bra and the cost of clothing I'll put my suspenders and belts to work! And this all start with the first 30 pounds lost then a long stalemate after I lost that using the Atkins diet so all total it is 70 plus pounds and counting!

That's great Hammer! Congratulations! 

I know that when I lost 40 pounds, I went down 2 pants sizes. In mens sizes I went from a 38 to a 34, in my women's jeans, I was a 16 and I now wear a 12. Because of my hips and bottom womens jeans fit much better. 

I also lost a band size in my bras. Like you, I spend $75-100 a piece for my bras. However,  I lost little to no cup volume. My sister took took up on the bands and viola, I could wear them again. So don't throw away a $100 bra. Find a seamstress and have her take the band in and save a few dollars.
