When are drains used? Are they necessary for when an excision is performed? I had my surgery on Mon (lipo + exc.), but was told that i will have lipo done 1st, and exc if necessary. Confused
Had gyno for the best part of 8 (awful) years
Surgery on Monday 20th July. Never felt so happy in my life!

Well, after talking to my doctor today, he said I didn't need excision.

He told me that there are "four levels" to this whole gyne thing, 4 looking exactly like a female's breasts, and 1 being where the puffy nipple is soley caused by fat and nothing else.

From what I know, (or guess, really), the doctor HAS to keep glands within the body to prevent your chest from falling apart. There is no way in hell that a doctor would remove all the glands on a chest just in order to fix your problem.

There are good doctors and there are bad ones, but in the end, THEY KNOW MORE THAN US.
