recovery

hey guys, im a 17 year old and i was just wondering if i get my surgery done at the beginning of winter break will i recover in time to go back to school, cause im in my senior school of high school and don't wanna miss too much time. So im just wondering if you guys think i should wait until summer to get anything done. oh and winter break is 2 years.
