Hormones can cause gynecomastia, they can also be factor in how we think and feel. When working with large groups of Klienefelter's Syndrome patients, I was exploring the emotions of living with XXY.  Having female like emotions, feeling more comfortable with a group of women instead of men at a party were some of the comments some of these individuals brought up.  Such issues are why it is too simplistic to define male / female in a black / white vs. shades of gray.  Learn more about such Intersex Issues and find resources that discuss this further.
