They will take your muscle mass into account, dont worry they wont tell you to lose weight! forget giving it a few months book an apointment tommorow the quicker you get the ball rolling the quicker you get this fixed!

The NHS Route goes like this. Go to your GP and they will refer you to a plastic surgeon at your local clnic. But i say you should go to your GP and get refered to a breast clinic that more gyne friendly there are a few out there if you dig through the NHS posts. You can choose any NHS clinic in the country its your choice

Diets/weightlifting really wont do anything and may even make the gyne more pronounced, its not a nice experience going to the docs about gyne but trust me it will benefit you in the long run! When you go to the docs just say how much it affects your day to day and how youve tried dieting/exercise to no avail

Thanks for the views guys

accroing to the BMI scale, I am clased as overweight, I should weigh 10.5 stone I weight 11.5, I know some of this is muscle due to training, but I could loose some excess still.

so, how exacly does the NHS route work? I guessed you would neeed a severe case for the docs to even thin about sending you to someone for free surgery? Or they just determine if you have Gyno and then refer you to a surgeon and take it from there?

I am on a 3 month strict diet, so llooking to cut up and strip most of my fat and then I will see my DR

really appreciate your help and advice too guys! Given me more confidence already

Its really a postcode lottery with the NHS on whether they will do this surgery. Its not up to your gp unfortunately but local health authority pen pushers! I could have had surgery np in my area (Although I didnt want it)
In some areas they class it as cosmetic surgery ( which to be fair it is!) & not life threatening. As there is a finite amount of money involved here they have to make desicions that wont please everyone.
However there is a way to get cosmetic surgery on NHS & that is if your "problem" is causing your mental health to be affected.
If you arent getting anywhere by conventional means, you could try that route! :o

Good luck!

Thanks guys

appreciate the info

I have a gut feeling, that i wont get anywhere, my Dr is a tool, to be honest but I am hoping I can get it sorted

If not, I will have to pay off my loan and get a new one, for surgery

You can choose any clinic to be reffered to in the country, try getting done to the broomfield hospital digg through some old posts for more info on where its located. Ive seen a few lads get surgery done for free there

You will get refused at different stages, which is why you always accept it dont argue with the doctor. And then ask for a second opinion eventually you will strike gold

Dude i think we have the same problem i got mine when i was 13 years old. I was also fat until i was 18 and started body building it took me a year from 190pounds down to 160 and still dropping my height is 5'6 1/2 22% bodyfat. I'm also like your size right now and my gyne looks like yours too. I'm also planning on taking up surgery someday maybe April i think. I hope we can all break free with this horrible sickness. Good luck to all of us!

I dont agree, just because he has a moderate case of gyne doesn't mean he cant discuss it with us and ask for help .Its as if people with bad cases of gyne on this forum have an elitist view on what gyne and what isnt!

"you havent got a B Cup then you dont have gyne, so stop whining!"

Get over yourself! This lad wants to deal with it and he wants our advice so if you havent got anything helpfull to say dont say anything at all!

Anyway! Mark whatever the doc says you can get a second opinion chances are he will refer you but if not you always have that lifeline, good luck mate!

well, deep down I knew I shouldnt have bothered seeing my doctor

Had my appointment today, checked and his conclusion was " you have muscular/well developed pecs" appointment over.

wow, I feel like shit now, if I have muscular pecs, why in he world do they look more femenine shape, than muscular.

I dont know what to do next, I cant afford surgery at all, and thats that.

try a different doctor i would! another thing maybe would to go for a consultation with harley medical group or something who do free consultatons and see what they say. im not saying have surgery with them mind, i have been to two or three consultations.  be wary tho that obviously they are more likely to say u have it and will want u to go ahead with their surgery. i personally would only go with a well known surgeron

i can see by ur pics u have gyno ur case is similar to me. do u look better when cold etc? do ur nipples change considerably durin the day to.
