Questions for Doctors.

Okay well I'm going to talk to my doctor about getting surgery now I've already done the tests and such now i gotta go back to him and ask about surgery and stuff. Even though your photos are not ideal, it does appear that you have gynecomastia.  If the condition has been present and stable for two years or more, then it would probably require surgery for a fix.

Since this is totally elective surgery, would recommend you research carefully.  Check out several plastic surgeons and make sure they are board certified in plastic surgery and have significant experience in performing gyne surgery.  Your best chance at getting a good result is with your first operation.

And one word of wisdom:  choose the surgeon with whom you have the most confidence and trust.  Do not make your decision based on fee alone.  You will enjoy the results of your surgery long after the fee is forgotten.

This surgery is hard enough that a major portion of my practice consists of seeing unhappy patients after with poor results from other doctors.
