Anyone used here or heard of it before?  Theyve 22 clinics across the U.K ,  I have a consultation with one of there nurses on August the 5th.

They do finance too.

Looks ok to me, prices are £2500 on the site but the girl on the phone said £3500.

Few things that bother me about it

1/ Consultation with the Nurse is useless, she isnt operating on you. You probally wont even see that "Nurse" On the day. Your basically seeing a sales person. And you will be given the hard sell!

2/ They say theres before/afters on the site, where? I cant see any male breast reduction pictures on there.

3/ There is no fixed price, which leads to a whole load of problems. Decent surgeons will have a fixed price per operation no matter how severe the case is. There is also no mention of what is peformed whether its just excision or just lipo

4/ The credit schemes BULLSHIT, the fact that you are going to be borrowing £3.5k (make that 4+ cause it will be) so lets break that down. £4000 + The APR £800 - So thats £4800 over 3 years. £133 a month!!!. You will get a better deal elsewhere

5/ There is NO mention of the surgeon peforming it, youd be better off going to somewhere like the BMI group and at least getting a decent surgeon.

To sum it up its a load of bollocks. You need to find a decent surgeon for the price your paying to these muppets youd be way better going to a credited surgeon

Blah..... what do you want a 'consultation' with a nurse for?   No doubt this is one of those free consultations where the 'nurse' (probably not even a real  registered nurse) to is there to flog you the surgery.

You want a proper Consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon.

£3500 is cheap enough I guess..... but personally I would rather cough up the £100 consult fee and then pay that little extra (£4000 ish) in order to get it done by someone proven with experience.    I certainly wouldn't want a nurse doing my consultation and follow up care.

also, just seen your picture and managed to get it to zoom out... http://img836.imageshack.us/i/frontgyne.jpg/

Doesn't look like your chest is massively abnormal to me........  dunno what thetodd and others think?

I think its a very mild case, i think transform would make it worse but youve got it far less than i had it.

But people used to tell me i didnt have it .. and it wound me up lol. All i will say is that your case is so minor that going to an inexperienced surgeon will leave you with scars/craters that will make your chest look worse than it is now. If you really want it done get it done by a professional who will make it look like nothing ever happened ;)

Please mate, dont even think about using this group. I know nothing about them but to me it screams of bad news.....

From offering your "credit" to not meeting the surgeon at your consult the whole thing sounds dangerous. As thetodd says, save up the money and get to a surgeon who has a proven track record and is well regarded. By rushing into this I think you will regret it. There are others on this board who have rushed into surgery and years later are still trying to fix the damage done.

Save up and pay for a good surgeon and its a one off and you can forget about it. I doubt very much "transform" will give you that result.

On another note, I watched embarrasing bodies on C4 the other week and they showed and warned off this sort of thing. Cut priced clinics with "nurses" doing the consults, deals being made if you book now etc.

Exactly.

Also even the surgeons used on the TV show were not able to deliver perfect results - an improvement yes but no where near perfection.    Now I know they were performing revisions rather than original surgery, but the point remains that perfect cosmetic results are not always possible.

So it is really worth weighing up the options and the risks when you have a 'mild' case -      A lot of guys with extreme gyne are thrilled just to be able to wear a T-shirt, we don't necessarily expect to be able to walk  around a beach topless.......... some of the guys with mild cases like yours expect to be able to model for mens health magazine a week after surgery, and it just isn't possible in many cases.

Think carefully  and get a Consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon before agreeing to anything.

Im getting the op done no matter what! it may not look that bad in those pictures but its there, it will always be there, and it really annoys me!  Im into fitness and weight training and my chest will never look right!

Im gonna go see her anyway as shes gonna show me some before and after pics of the surgeons recent ops, plus you do get a consultation with the surgeon first before commiting to it, dont worry lads im not rushing into it !  Im weighing up my optoins also in contact with poland etc.

Also the payment would suit me better, i can pay it off in 1 year at 0% apr, need a £1000 deposit though but thats managable for me, i spoke to a guy on a bodybuilding forum who had it done with transform and hes well happy.

So im just seeing how it goes. you guys saying going to poland is a safer option than here in the u.k?

Nope, Id say going with a recognised surgeon here in the UK is your best option.

I wouldn't bother with Poland at all... a few years back a lot of guys were going and many of them had to have revisions to remove more tissue as they were not happy..... ok revisions seem quite common with gyne surgery, but going to Poland means you have to cough up twice for the travel costs and I'm pretty sure a couple of them were asked for more surgical fees as  well.

Plus this is surgery, just because it is cosmetic doesn't mean things never go wrong....... there are risks to having any operation and I would personally want to be on home soil just incase!

I don't  understand if this consultation is with a nurse or not?  first you say it is now you say it is with a surgeon (which is the ONLY way to go IMO).

Also, as for finance... well it would probably work out cheaper to get a bank loan or  apply for a credit card with an interest free period, but each to their own.

Please don't be talked in to putting down a deposit or booking on the day of Consultation, especially if they offer reductions in price.............. that should never happen.

Think very carefully, even the experienced gyne surgeons like Karidis and Levick have a few unhappy patients.... and the guys who had surgery with the NHS or inexperienced surgeons are nearly aways unhappy.

You obviously didnt read through the site,
step 1 initial consultation with patient care coordinator ie NURSE
step 2 consultation with SURGEON (no obligations to go ahead) Surgeons are all listed on the site with there qualifications
step 3 pre op screening
step 4 op
step 5 after care

Dont worry mate im not the sort of guy to be talked into something easily, if i feel everything is right ill do it.

Ok,  fair enough... makes me wonder what the point of the initial consultation is though, I mean what info is the nurse going to give you that you don't already know....

I find it strange that people on the body-building forum have had the surgery but ive never seen a single case the whole time ive been on this site. Smells like commission sales tactics to me. Bit like all of the supplements and steroids they push on those sites

If your into your body, and your going to go with blokes that specialise in female breast operations. Your going to be seriously down you cant fix poor surgery's easily. Best of luck to you just go onto the User/Photo section and have a look at Enterprise17 and what happened there

The first consultation is to tell them the surgery u want to get.

Guys this is an option for me and - in poland is the other one,its going to be one of these 2 for sure!  I just cant afford to go to a specialist.
