causes for my chest wall deformity

ever since i can remember (14-16 years old, i'm 24 now)  i have had a deformed chest wall.  my heart side sticks out more than right.  currently am healing from gynecomatia gland removal and i am very pleased with results just curious to see what you guys might think the cause for my deformity is.   i really dont think i was born with it,  but started smoking pot at 14 and got really into smoking crystal meth at 18 (think accelerated heart could be cause?).   i have small frame and am skinny.
