I am no Doctor dude but I have seen plenty of pics on this forum and yours looks quite similar to our 'problem'. I think you made the right choice with Dr. Ramachandran though. He has apparently got wealth of experience with these kind of surgeries.
On another note, I consulted a plastic surgeon near to where I live and he made it sound as if these surgeries are so common. He said he has done something like 4 within the past month at least. Thinking of getting it done here just for convenience sake but going to make a last visit to Dr. Ramachandran to see whether he can change my mind.
But good luck for whatever you decide to do Trudy. I wish you all the best for you surgery next year and may you have a speedy healthy recovery. My humble advice, stay away from Alcohol, drugs, tobacco for a few months after surgery. Let your body heal naturally.
