Keyhole Gynecomastia Surgery - India

Hello friends

I am a male, 25 suffering from Gyne for 8-9 yrs (Grade 2A). I've seen Dr Jain & more recently Dr. James/Dr. Thomas from Cosmetic Surgery Institute, Mumbai.

I wanted to ask if anyone knows about the Keyhole Gyne Surgery, how effective is it & is it practiced frequently in India. Dr Jain told me he'll do excision to remove the gland but Dr Thomas tells me that Power Assisted Liposuction can take care of it. I am a little apprehensive because I've not read too much about this technique, except at CSI's website. It does sound that it'll give a lot less pain but will the results be worthy?

The keyhole procedure is not new -- it has been around for years.  It has some good points and bad points -- all quite technical.  The important point, though, is to make sure that it is the appropriate procedure for your particular problem.  That is why it is worthwhile to obtain several opinions prior to surgery.  Some other doctors may differ in their approach to your situation.
