about two years ago i went in for possible revision, i didnt need it so i backed out. But he said that he could do minor revisions in one of his own theatres for around £300. But others have since been and hes said they cant.

But from what you've said im assuming he may be thinking along those lines. The best way to contact Karidis ive found is email. Id just email him and tell him the shots gone ok, but you still want to look into possibilities of revision. Id include something along these lines

"Ive been talking to past patients of yours on gynecomastia.org, and one of the members informed me it may be possible to have small revisions done in the Loretto Clinic's theatre therefore not having to pay St Johns a large fee. Do you think that could be a possibility in my case?"

He may just say no, but its worth a try.

That's interested to know. I was quoted about 1.5k by his secretary for a revision (Anaesthetic and Hospital fee) , and about £4.5k for the flank lipo... I've asked if they can negotiate the price as it's too much for both for me, they've said this is possible, and best to come and see him first for his thoughts! Going to go up later this month  I think and have a word.

I did email him about it, yet to have a reply. I will bring up this other clinic once I get a reply! I hope it'd be covered under a revision, I think it may be a matter of reducing the areola size, to get rid of the area where the NHS have left their scar, as this is part of the problem, whether or not he'd be prepared to do that as a revision i'll have to see, I hope so though having spent £4.5k already!! But also need some scar tissue or possibly a little gland removing on the right side regardless, as it's quite uneven, left doesn't look too bad, however where the scar was left by NHS it is prone to creasing when bent over etc.. That doesn't overly bother me, but the scar is quite obviously visible upon close inspection which is annoying! Regret ever going through the NHS, live and learn..

Hopefully Karidis can still sort me out, would be nice to have a chest I can finally expose and not worry!

Can get flank lipo in Brussels for 1.5-2k, which is considerabley cheaper.. I'd rather have it done here by Karidis ideally as he knows his stuff and is very good, and should there be any complications I'd much rather be over here in his hands than in a foreign country! Will all boil down to what he says when I see him and what they can offer me price wise.

Would be nie to have both areas of bother done in one hit though, and *hopefully* be finally done with having insecurities about my body!

The lloretto clinic is his clinic, they have one small room which i presume they do all the botox and what not. But he said he could do minor revisions in there (which would be local under anaesthesia).

Go and see him, id mention that your active on here it may sway his decision to knocking money off. I wouldn't get the flank lipo personally, it is possible to shift the fat it just takes a long time.

I see!

Trust me bro I know how it works, very into training and a lot of bodybuilding knowledge.. However I have VERY stubborn fat deposits in that area! It's not realistic to lose them and keep them off how I want them, put it that way, unless I were to sit near on competition BF%  year round lol..

Would be very worth it for me! They are unusually bad for me, a lot worse than the average weight joes love handles to say the least !

Tbh if I was confident I'd get the result I'd want, I'd happy pay another £4k odd for it.. Booked in to see Karidis torwards the end of the month, we'll have to see what he says and go from there.

Regardless of the flank lipo, my main concern is what he'll say about my chest and what he can offer.. I think realistically to get the right result, it may mean reducing the areola size (to get rid of the tissue which the NHS left a scar on which is causing creasing.) Whether or not he'd class this as a revision I don't know, I hope so though. When I last saw him for the shot he mentioned trying another op, but at the time I was insistent on trying the shot first so didn't really talk about it, he never mentioned if that would of been a revision or what not - would presume it would be though as it's all tied in.. Hmm - time will tell, hate lacking patience!!

Be a dream come true if I could get my chest satisfactory and flanks sorted for next Summer. We'll see.

Saw Karidis today, he said he was happy to do a revision to try and resolve the NHS scars, basically remove the area of areola they've left the scar across (about 1/3-1/2 way across the bottom half of areola) and then pull the areola down and rejoin in, so there's no areola with scar across it. Then with regard to the flank lipo, he said he'd take it all out..

Price wise it came to £4830 odd for both which is a lot less than I was anticipating, originally it came to about £6k all in, maybe they knew I'd already queried price and had a revised figure ready I don't know! Certainly seems doable though.. Not quite in the position to go ahead with it yet, currently able to book for January, fingers crossed will be able to get in booked in the next few weeks.. Definitely going ahead with the revision, pretty certain on the flank lipo too. Just hope he really does take ALL the fat he can out on the flanks, as store a lot there (especially atm, need to diet really!!)

Good luck with it! Contour wise its spot on with Karidis, I have some scar tissue across the right side which makes it uneven in downlighting which he's said he'll remove and then its just a matter of fixing the NHS scars and *hopefully* that'll be it over for me, after a few years now!! Also asked about getting lower stomach done and if they could bring it within budget, Nicola is going to speak to Karidis and let me know, but max budget is £5k and was quoted £4830 for flanks and revisions so I'm not holding high hopes they'd do the lower stomach for £170 or even near that, but worth an ask incase of a miracle!! Would be nice to get it done at the same time, that'd be all stubborn areas sorted and the areas that bother me too!

Ah fair enough. Yea, you don't ask you don't get and all that. Once you feel better about yourself it will be easier to maintain.

Yeh I've ripped up before and the ONLY area that looked bad was my love handles, had 6 pack etc and still had abnormal fat stores there... Think I pulled a real crappy genetic card for them!! With them sorted and chest sorted I'll look sweet as when I rip up (added a fair amount of size since these pics!)

Thats good news, shame its costing so much but the scar cover up sounds good.

Try and keep a picture log of the flank lipo, i can only really recall 1or2 cases on here that have picture's its always interesting to see the change!

Yer I mean the scar will be worth it as that really ruins it atm tbh and he said he'll take out the scar tissue on the right hand side too while he's there so hopefully that'll smooth that out!

Got toons of old pics showing me at all different weights (from 11-12% BF to 25-30% BF!!) so got plenty of pics to compare before/and after with flanks.. If he really does take out all the fat like hes said he will, it will make a HUGE different to my general look. Mid section KILLS my look, because I have wide hips naturally so even a little fat on them isn't ideal, but I carry aloot! nicola has said they cant adjust the hospital fee but she'll speak to Karidis to see what he'd be willing to do on adjusting his fee with regards to adding lower stomach lipo in too! SO we'll see.

Couldnt do any lower on price, even asked if they could do the revision + flank lip for £4500 again, couldnt go lower, as price was already reduced as a returning patient. Money still not quite sorted so can't get booked, but I'm 95%+ sure I'm going to go for both.

In terms of dates, I asked about the 20th of Dec and she said not availible, is going to let me know shortly about 18th however not sure I could that anyway because of work!! Otherwise it's very end of January at the moment.

If you want some insight into the op, this is the only thread i can recall. You may have seen it already

gynecomastia.org/smf/20/surgery-booked-with-karidis-8th-nov/15/

Should give you a bit of insight, im not to sure what his final feelings were regarding the flank lipo op i remember him being a bit downbeat about it later on. If you go to page 5 and the top page pretty much sums it up.

But ultimately he had a cracking result, and i think you will as well!
