Day 9

Feeling great today. The underarmour is providing nice compression and I have only been wearing tshirts these days. I noticed that I actually had quite a nice collection which will now be used to the fullest ;).

There is a little bit of soreness where the lipo happened and I sleep on my side but have a pillow under it. Chest is still sort of numb, I keep cuping my chest now and it still feels like I am touching someone else!

My left nipple now has a fold in it and I don't really mind that as I know it will take sometime to heal. But really not a big deal. Will try and post a pic of it sometime soon.

Everything else is great, I was out and about yesterday and actually did quite a bit of moving of heavy stuff and didn't feel any pain or discomfort what so ever. I am thinking of starting the exercise bike tomorrow so I can get into shape. My gut seems to have been effected by all the sitting around I did post op ;D.

Anyway, thanks again for all the comments guys they are always appreciated.

Great results so far.  When it looks so good so shortly after surgery you have to be pleased.  Congrats.

Day 13

The frequency of my posts has decreased because there doesn't seem to be too much to report daily these days. Healing is going well I am getting a little bit of swelling but this was to be expected. I also have some hard substance in my chest and it has turned a weird yellowish green colour where the substance is. I still haven't taken the tapes off of my aereolas but I think they are a little bit puffy from the swelling and I can feel the scars getting a little bit hard.

All this is normal from what I have read and I still feel effing great and went out wearing just a tshirt today. nothing else just a tshirt, boxers and pants ;D. Felt like a million bucks.

I will probably be taking pictures this weekend to give you guys an updated look. Until then, thanks for the comments and feel free to ask any questions :).

Day 13 - more info

Just some more important info. The soreness is reducing at a pretty rapid rate. Although I still haven't started any serious exercise I did do 2 reps of bicep curls with dumbells yesterday. I am planning on starting stationary bike cardio tomorrow and maybe some light lifting.

I am able to sleep a lot better now, I still don't sleep much on my sides because when adjusting to them there is a little bit of stinging pain initially and then it's ok once i'm in position. I have however been able to raise my hands over my head and stretch without any discomfort anymore.

I sometimes get a little bit of irritation where the stiches are but I feel that will pass with time. Since I have yet to take off the tape my hair caught in it sometimes also itches, but seriously to me the itching is overrated. Sorry guys just had to say it! I never really had too much discomfort from itching.

The glue on the foam pads affects some people.  In my case I had to resume 'normal' life almost the very next day after surgery.  That included stepping out of the house, and man oh man that particular week was hot and humid.  So you couple that heat with the glue on the foam pads and I was in agony due to itching - not the pain itself.

I'd take it easy with the exercise though, the Doc recommends a good 3-4 weeks off before hitting the gym.  Otherwise you stand a chance of getting a 'haematoma' (sp.???).

I started working out last week, approximately 4 weeks after surgery however when stretching and warming up I can feel the scar tissue under the skin shifting.  Hopefully this will go away with time.

ok thanks for the advice, I guess i'll just stick to light cardio for now. He definetely said I could hit the exercise bike once I was feeling sufficiently mobile.

Day 14

Going to the gym in a bit, will feel strange to go there while wearing just a tshirt without any underarmour! But it's a good weird :).

Took off one of the pieces of tape off my right aereola. There is a big scar on the side of it and I hope it heals well because it seems to look like a little canyon right now.

Swelling is about the same, maybe a little less. Some less lumpiness so I am hopping that should go away in about a week or so.

But yea recovering well and loving life :).

Day 16

A little less swelling and lumpiness. Was on the stationary bike today for a half hour but I am really not enjoying that too much. I would really like the swelling to go down so I can start running again! Oh and I can sleep on my side now with no problems :).

New pictures will be up tomorrow.

Oh and thank for the comments, keep em coming!

Day 30

Almost a month now, WOW. Time sure does fly! Sorry for the lack of posts but my motherboard blew so I am PC less atm. Posting from a net cafe atm! The updates will be slow for the next month hopefully will also be able to get some pics up in a month or so.

Anyway I feel almost fully healed. I have been working out (weights) and doing cardio with no problems. Haven't worked out the chest directly yet but i feel i am ready for it. The scars are healing well on the aerolas and they are a little puffy but a million times better than before and getting better every day.

There is not too much more lumpiness and zero bruising now. I am wearing t-shirts to the max and have bought tons of clothes from designer shops where i was afraid to shop before. This truly has been a life changing experience!

All in all life is great, I wish I could get some pics up but that will take sometime because of this whole motherboard fiasco.

Anyway guys your comments and questions are always welcome!

Just to add on some more info. I have also been running with no pain what so ever. I do sometimes get a little bit of discomfort when I do a full on stretch while working out my lats, but its just a little bit of soreness mainly where the lipo holes were made.

Your pics look great my man.... Congrats!

You're almost 2 months post-op. How you feeling? I'm 6 months and 3 weeks post-op and feeling great!

Know what you mean by "Wearing t-shirts to the max..." I must have bought like 30 new t-shirts/muscle shirts in the first couple of months post-op.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Take care broh....

Hope you recovering well. Are you still wearing the compression vest? Have you swelling reduced. Do you feel anymore pain? Post some pictures if possible.

Hey guys!

Been travelling a lot for the last month. Just got my pc fixed so thought I would update you guys.

I feel completely healed. No pain, bruising or noticable swelling at all. I can work out my chest to the max with no problems. I wear tshirts without giving it a second thought and it feels like I never had gyne!

During my vacation i decided to hit up the pools in the hotel there. It was the greatest feelign the world to back in the water, splashing around like a little kid :). That moment alone told me that I would have done this surgery 10 times over to have this off of mind and chest.

There is very minimal internal scarring under the incisions. This was expected and is part of the healing process, but isn't even noticable unless you feel around the nipple area. Even then it's just a few hard bumps. The lipo incisions now look like little pimples which aren't noticable unless you're specifically looking for them. Aerolas them selves are sometimes very very very slightly puffy (looks kinda cool imo ;)) but mostly flat and looking good.

I stopped wearing any sort of compression vest or under shirt about a month ago and haven't looked back since. My chest is completely flat and I sport muscle shirts sometimes. Although i have gained a little weight so my belly now bulges ;). Need to do something about that :D.

Hoping to get new pics up sometime this weekend.
