just think if insurance companies would cover gynecomastia surgery.. how many guys growing up could avoid traumatizing events because of their gyne.. Gynecomastia should be one of those exceptions when it comes to plastic surgery.. but hey insurance companies know more than the doctors or at least they think they do.. While there racking up on money tho, i'm sitting here suffering from some deep depression.. Insurance Company=Great Satan

Follow the money trail.

If your insurance was bought on the basis of price, there are many exclusions. If it was bought on the basis of the broadest overall coverage, then the price is much higher.

There are insurance policies that cover Gynecomastia, but they tend to be the most expensive policies. Most of us tend to have insurance that covers only injuries and pathological diseases. While Gynecomastia can be a result of pathological conditions, it is rather rare. Since the surgery is generally considered as cosmetic rather than medically necessary it is excluded.

Don't blame the person who wrote the police, blame the person who accepted it.
