For me its just felt like small hard lumps under certain areas of the chest. I can't speak for everyone else but they are only slightly noticable and for example if I went swimming no one would notice unless they came up close and really started studying my chest lol. I reckon my left nipple looks very slightly sunken due to some swelling/fibrous around the outside of the nipple. Ironically this morning though it seemed almost completely gone after last nights massage (very much focused on this nipple area), but I'm expecting changes and ups and downs for a while longer anyways.

I have found that being strict with the massage does help ease it off, the lumps seem to go down a little for a while. This however might be the swelling, i.e. the liquid inside being moved around or finding a new drainage path.

All I can say is relax, don't worry about the swelling/fibrous. It shall alter the chest's appearance a bit but in time and with massaging shall go back down. Compared to how you looked with a t-shirt on post-op, the swelling/fibrous should appear as nothing and you should still be able to wear those summer t-shirts without that nagging worry we all used to feel!

Hi guys,

Sorry for the lack of posts, but I decided if I commit myself to regular updates I will obsess over every minor change. I am coming up to two months post op, and though generally happy, I have a couple of concerns. On my left nipple I have had a persistent fold where the scar is. I expected it to fill out, but it is still generally there. More concerning in the right nipple, where I can feel a hard lump under the nipple (slightly on the right). It's been there a while, and I am guessing its scar tissue, but any tips/reassurance?

I know I promised pics a while ago, but this I WILL upload them later. Just need to find the cable for my phone.
