Hello Doctors,

I Had my surgery exactly 30 days ago and after the 16-18 days of the procedure I noticed:

1. Slight discoloration and
2. Very slight depression where the gland used to be

Please see below photos. The area feels a little hard in some places and soft in others. When flexing, the tissue feels generally uniform. Some of the color is shadowing of the slight depression, but some is not...thats why I used a flash. See the photo when I flex. I know there is a lot going on underneath my skin, but Im concerned about both observations. My doctor said he is fairly certain both will go away with time and we will revisit in 3 months. Its not bruising as there is no pain and I really didn’t have much bruising.

Doctors, any idea what can cause both? I know the depression can be a "crater deformity" but the coloring? Also, does the coloring go back to normal? As heeling continues, is it likely the tissue and skin will even out to a natural looking state?
