best instructions for post-op

I delayed my surgery appointment until yesterday and i've been in a lot of pain. I have a vest on, they said something about 48 hours? I wanna know how long ideally i should keep on the vest, when i can take a shower, when i can start jogging again... stuff like that. thanks!

You should follow the directions of your surgeon.Online forums are a wonderful source for information,however when you select a surgeon that individual should be your primary source for information.Only your surgeon knows what was done at surgery.To rely on someone who has no idea of the extent of your initial problem or any associated medical issues without  would be a mistake at two days after surgery.
