MLD Masage's post surgery??

hi i was just wondering if any one had any MLD massages after surgery, i have been recomended by my surgeon to get around 5 to 7 sessions of this within the first 2 weeks post surgery, so i would like to know if anyone else had any of these mld sessions and how much benifit they feel they got from them??

My Surgeon suggested me after 6 weeks.
A Mild Massage 2 times a day with some oil, In a Circular movement.
but doc told me to be vry gentle.
Its my 4th day of massage, i'll share the result.

I had an mld massage twice, after surgery. I can not tell if it helped with the swelling, because my chest was the same size before and after the massages. I had excess body fluid, so my surgeon drained me out with a needle, and now I am pretty close to as flat as I can be.

My doctor suggested me the same to massage the chest in a circular way.I am 4 weeks Post OP.I googled to find out that this is to make the good Blood Circulation in that area.I hope it wont have any other effects like sagging  of my chest
