I keep seeing adverts for Dr Ravi Jain and apparently he uses a new type of lippo that reduces scarring and speeds healing. Just wanted to know if anyone has tried him or know someone who has? Pictures before and after would also be good.

Ive been trying to research his handy work but keep drawing a blank. Seems weird especially as he even advertises on this site but searched for his name on here and there is nothing.

Thanks in advance and thanks for all the useful info. Ive been putting this off for nearly 20 years but this site has convinced me to bite the bullet and crack on.

If you have gyne and breast tissue no amount of lipo will get rid of this.  The gyne needs to be removed PERIOD!  Why go for a half measure?

As I'm typing this as i can see Dr Ravi Jain's advert to the right of my screen.  Not heard any reviews so cannot comment but personally and from experience I would recommend Dr. Karidis hands down.  Again this is based on my own personal experience and I had some BIG moobs!  I'm not flat as a pan cake!

Sorry should have mentioned dexs, he removes gland tissue too but also goes on about a new lipo technique.

I'd never heard of Dr. Karidis before visiting this site but after seeing some of his results I'm itching to pick the phone up and book an appointment for a consultation.

Just thought Dr Jain's absence of reviews on this site was weird as he's obviously throwing some money at advertising his treatments.

I may go and see him as he is fairly local and offers a free consultation so nothing to loose but unless anybody can vouch for him I think I'll set my sights on Dr. Karidis as he seems like the main man in this area - Choppers blog with before and after pics is very compelling - would like to get results like that!

I have not read any reviews of his work but like the previous poster I would be cautious of anyone who claims to be able to cure gyne with lipo only as the general consensus is that any amount of gland tissue has to be physically 'cut' out... although lipo is obviously used to remove the excess fat.

Also, this Dr Ravi Jain guy may be a great doctor but a quick look on the GMC website shows he is a qualified GP and is NOT on the specialist register - i.e. he is NOT qualified in the speciality of plastic surgery like Levick, Karidis or many others.

Finally the method this guy uses is Vaser lipo? Which from my understanding uses ultrasound to break up the fat... if you look on Levick's website you will see he pretty much gives this technique the thumbs down.

Given that he has done more gyne and lipo ops than most people have had hot dinners I would be inclined to believe what he says.

Better off spending a bit more and going to see a qualified plastic surgeon of your choice IMO.

Thanks guys for your opinions/ideas on this - for many people this is the only discussion they have about this so it's so valuable. I've decided to go with your advice and bin Dr Jain and have booked an appointment with Dr. Karidis (next month :))

Can't wait to get on with this now I've made my mind up to confront the problem.

Good stuff.  I don't think you will go wrong with Karidis as he seems to do good 'work' if the feedback here is anything to go by. He is also a fully qualified plastic surgeon rather than a GP....
