puffy nipples 5 months post op.

my puffy nipples are really bothering me, they stick out through shirt and even without a shirt, chest looks amazing when its cold and nipples looks amazing as well, but that's just sometimes when its cold.

i had gland removal only.

i went to my surgeon last week, and he checked my breast and told me there isnt any scar tissue and there really isnt any more he can cut off since than the chest would look weird.

im a bit on the chubby side, he told me to lose about 20 pounds and my nipples would be normal, but i have a hard time believing that because the nipples are puffy, i dont think fat loss has anything to do with nipples being puffy.

Was your chest much flatter after the operation & were you happy with the result?

It kinda looks like mine did pre-op.

You dont look fat to me. I think you should consult another surgeon who specialises in gyn surgery or something. I dont want to upset you - but I would want a revision if it were me - especially if you paid 3 or 4 thousand for a private op.

I think the surgeon isn't being too fair. The best thing to do is shift the weight he quoted (+a few lb for good luck) double quick & start knocking his door again & making some noise (possibly with the written opinion of another surgeon).

Thats what I would do.

I have to ask the same question as the above poster:  Was your chest flat at any point after the operation?

I had issues with puffiness even 6 months after surgery, but it wasn't quite as bad as yours and my chest looked amazing 5 days post-op.

Did you go to a surgeon who specializes in Gynecomastia?

I had surgery by a general surgeon 4 years ago as I have just puffy nipples (no man boobs).  Unfortunately, the surgery didn't really help the puffiness of the nipples.  I can say that weight has nothing to do with the puffy nipples, at one time I was around 150-160 (skinny frame) and still had puffy nipples, basically the same size of nipples as now and I weigh roughly 200.

When my chest is cold or my nipples are erect they look perfect, I just wish they would stay in that state.
