Surgery 8 days post op

I had pubertal gynecomastia surgery 8 days ago, liposuction was used. I have looked and the nipples are still quite puffy. Will they flatten or change when the swelling goes down and compresses?

In my experience liposuction alone is not adequate to remove the tissue involved.The glandular component of tissue is resistant to liposuction ( all types of liposuction )

I agree with Dr. Pensler.  If puffy nipples are present, I will perform excision of the sub-areolar tissue in every patient.
