So Wednesday after my shower! Feeling nice and clean we headed into town about 13:30. Wandered around discussing our visit to dr Clark this morn. Again can't praise her handy work enough, just had a few "weird" moments with taxis etc. we both came to a agreement to, when u email u will find Jeremy is very slow to reply most the time. Sometimes he's directions, instructions, explanations are very short and vague. He's a busy man understandably but we think if he spent a few hours putting together a few pages that cover every detail of what to expect in ur trip with detailed explanations, break downs. He would only have to do this once and then could simply attach it in an email to cover everyone's questions. But hopefully my diary will help set a few things straight.

Anyway we went to the galaxy and had 2scoops ice cream...O my god...u like ben & jerrys this stuff makes it look like value brand tasteless goo. Best ice cream ever end of. (Had the cookie flavour). Ill upload pics of this glorious ice cream lol. Then we headed upstairs to the cinema for spring breakers at 15y:00 we skipped lunch cos had a decent hot breakfast. The film was...well kind of weird, fully in English and small polish subtitles. The cinema puts the ones I know in Croydon to shame. Massive screens, n brand new and sparkly clean. Tickets were around 20zlotys so around £5. There's was only 2others in our massive screen.

After the film at 1700 we walked back slowly, got some water for the room and went back text some mates. Relatives back home. We were both hungry so me & Aaron had dinner in the atrium at around 1800. Both had the pizza atrium (pepperoni, salami, onion, peppers) lovely grub it was. Had a drink each and a pot of tea each after. Bill was again around 60zlotys. (30 each) Very reasonable.

After chatting bout gyno mostly, quite nice talking bout how much it has held us back with a similar minded person. Will def keep in touch with Aaron, really is a top lad. We both said see ya Tomoz for our last full day & headed up to our rooms where I'm just watching the laptop and surfing on my phone.

That's it for tonight guys.

Thanks for replying back mate you have really eased my mind. I am hoping I am like you to be honest in regards to no bleeding etc, sounds like you are making an awesome recovery already!

I know this sounds odd but I am excited to experience poland like you are doing. Kind of a bit of me time away from everyone else but I must admit I would like to be there with a friend.

Well I hope you enjoy the rest of your night, im currently laying in bed looking down at these puffy nipples wishing I was now in your situation! Time to watch some Games of Thrones on the laptop and an early night for me. Enjoy your last day tomorrow and please keep us updated with pics etc. I will pop on and keep reading your updates.

^^ no worries matey. Dr Clark said she has zero concern for me, no swelling bruising bleeding etc. ill chuck up pics for you Tomoz wen I have a min to sort them out.

One more thing pain...the most painful thing I have experienced is the blood test.(and that's just a pin prick) I honestly gave had no pain from the op. 0/10. The ONLY discomfort I had was the night at the clinic having an uncomfortable bed and the bandages being wrapped so tight. And this made my back ache but that's just it am ache not pain.

You will enjoy Poland mate. I wandered to the supermarket at 2100 down the road feeling very safe. Just got an apple and some of my favourite drink that I found over here. It's called oshi 0. Zero calorie sports drink but unlike powerade zero back home it actually tastes really nice.

O and y I remember at the atrium there is a safe in your wardrobe that is free to use and u programme ur code in.

Ill out up pics Tomoz with my final day experience before heading back home. Can't wait to see my little daughter

Thursday 18th April 2013, the last full day & night in Poland guys! So I slept at good 8hours again last night. Went down to breakfast at 8:15. I had a bread roll and put a polish sausage in it. 2tiny quarters of rye bread and put some wafer thin ham and cheese on. (Getting addicted to this polish speciality lol) a humungus red apple. And a double strong coffee. I also tried this tiny slither of chocolate "cake". Virtually all air but was ok. The Germans tend u eat the different breakfast cakes so I was just curious.

For those staying at the atrium the breakfast buffet has, on the left side, coffee machine, tea, then some mixed fruits, fruit juices & the random cake things. On the right side you have cereal like cornflakes, muesli with various dry fruits, toppings in bowls. There's jams. Then there's the hams, deli meats, cheeses and hot food like boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and other things I don't know what they are? European delicacys I guess. Finally there's a huge selection of tiny breads and bread rolls. I also noticed some of the Germans getting poached eggs and bacon brought to them by the waitress/hostess lady so I think u can ask for some cooked stuff.

Anyway, I really hope this is helpful or am I just waffling on? Iv just come up to my room. Running a bath and chilling out. Took my bandages off and guys..has a little flex in my mirror. Today is the first day I really took note of what I have done. My chest looks fantastic, I literally cannot wait to get in the gym and sculpt me a sick looking chest. I haven't had this feeling in a decade. Before it was right lets get my back arms shoulders as big as possible to hide my pointy shitty chest. When that didn't work and I gave up PEDs it was right keys do as much cardio as possible diet and get as lean as I can to try get this gyno less noticeable. Off course my waist shrunk, muscles wasted away and I was left with a thin physique but still sporting a soft pointy chest. So I gave up.

Don't give up guys. If u have any hesitation whether this is worth it erase it now. I thought to myself perhaps ill just live with it. It weren't meant to be for me. But now...it's incredible, the freedom and possibility. Save up, man up, whatever. Just go thru with it u wont regret it.

To anyone without gyno the above willl sound like I'm a right nutjob, but to those fellow gyno sufferers. You know exactly what I mean. & I hope it helps motivate u.

Ill update u later with my last day and pull my finger out to get those pics uploaded.

Later

Chris

Good Morning mate,

That breakfast sounds amazing, thing im going to have to give that a try! I cant imagine how happy you feel after removing the bandages. For us gyno sufferers people just dont realise how much this can affect our minds as much as we try to not let it! I like how detailed your posts are and it does not sound like your waffling on at all!

Looking forward to seeing them pics mate and I wish you a nice flight back.

Keep us updated and it would be good to hear how you get along with the scar process.

Sorry Chris, forgot to ask- what airport did you fly to in Berlin? Trying to find flight costs but theres 3 airports?

Thanks mate. Actually really enjoyed my flight out, as a man with breasts id shunned holidays for many years & missed out on many opportunities. I love flying so excited for that flight home.

I will snap close ups of my nipple and lipo scars. Honestly don't worry. I can realistically expect as time goes by for them to fade to nothing. I will keep my log going, not regular but a few weekly updates as I deal with scar tissue buildup, break down and hopefully in 6months the final result.

I flew to Berlin schonefield from gatwick via easy jet. Aaron flew standstead to Szczecin via Ryanair. I believe Jeremy told me that any Berlin airport is fine and interglobus transfer to Szczecin with will be the same cost. (Around 40quid). Think it just comes down to where you are travelling from at uk? And what flight times suit u mate and obviously cost. I didn't wanna travel at crazy early morning times so paid easy jet a little extra. I wanted to come at my own times as surgery is stressful enough and couldn't warrant saving 50quid on flights just to break my neck getting up at 3am etc. I also paid easy jet 20quid so I could pack a case & store below deck. Whereas Aaron got all his gear into a suitably sized bag to take as carry on with Ryan air. He also saved money by travelling at early morning times.

Best of luck with it all mate

i have uploaded various photos for you guys.

please note on the scar photos i took up close, i have used the bath room lighting that would usually show up the lumps and pointy nipples at their worst. the stitches all have permanent marker under them where Dr Clark marked out my chest pre suregery. i also have a little stain of the brownish orange solution used to dissenfect my chest pre surgery. as u understand i dont want to vigorously scrub my chest in the shower to remove it.

*guys it wont let me link you to the photobucket i set up, im not great at resizing and stuff cos my files are too big to upload one at a time on here. any ideas how i can link you all to the photobucket?

Mate you are pretty lean to be honest! and those results look amazing, it would be great to compare your preop pics if you taken any. Cant get over how good your making a recovery, cant see any swelling at all? Do you have any indentation across the pec? I would be over the moon if mine made my nipples flat and follow the contour of my chest.

Heres the link I think you was looking for to your pics hi1280.photobucket.com/albums/a486/cjc85gyno/ I think the forum stop you from placing website links but if you copy and paste that it should be ok. Thanks for uploading them.

Im going to have a nosey now, good work! :)

nice one mate yeh the photobucket has the various szecin photos in too for you to have a look at. no mate i have zero swelling, zero indentation. just a FLAT chesgt. thats y i attatched the the side shot. i also took a sittind down one earlier slumped over, as theats how my moobs looked the worst, little pointy triangles. now just flat and pert! im not gna lie mate, id struggle to find many pictures of me these last few years, lack of self esteem and gyno means i was the one always behind the camera. i think i have the ones i sent jeremy back on usb at home which i will upload but to be honest i even made my self look as good as posssible in those cos i couldnt face the shame of showing my gyno at its worst in its worst light. put it this way when i flexed my chest my nipple would like fold over its self in a little lump and looking down my shirt from above my chest was triangualr pointing out and to the side. yuk.

Thursday, the last day. After breakfast me and aaron headed back to our rooms. now im not gna lie, there will be ups and downs on your trip here. From the massive massive high of our new chests and the begininng of what feels like a new lwase of life we are both slightly down today. home sickness has sunk in, dont get me wrong wer not walking around with our heads down, just the novelty of the new town, pretty girls and tasty food is slowly waring off. i will be very happy to head home tommorow purely to see my family, my daughter and sleep in my own home.

aback in our rooms aaron chatted to his mates and mrs back home, i killed 3 hours updating my blog earlier and fanying around unnsuccesfully on photobucket lol. had a bath and a wash and then we headed out for our final trip into town. pretty hot here today guys, just a tshirt over the vest and we had to walk pretty slow cos we were both getting hot as hell. ended up at the galaxy for a while, aaron looked at the sports shops and i wanted a good look round REAL the supermarket. im one of those annoying people who enjoys walking round the supermaret looking at all the various goodies for ages picking em up and leaving with nothing in the end anyway lol the selection of food in poland i realy want to come to the uk. i tool a pic of the amount of different milka chocolate bars they sell lol the purple ones at home that we have like a daim bar versom a crunchy one etc well they have like 20 different versions, strawberrys and cream, mint, white choc, snickers just stuoid amounts. and those belivita breaksfast biscuits they have double chocolate ones and all sorts.. i know silly examples but meats, cheeses, breads, theres just immense variety.

also having worked in a supermarket i reember being moaned at at our distinct lack of gluten free and wheat allergy foods etc, they have a whole aisle the lenght of the supermarket. anyway after losing myself in the magic of all this variety i met up with aaron and we was both pretty hungry. went in th food bit, im a bit unadventurous o i had a subway, the staff actually spoje perfect englsish yey, had a fotlong long sub with spicy chicken, bacon, cheese and salad. about 15 zlotys. aaron had something from this polish kiosk and to be fair he said it was the greatest meal hes had and i kinda regretted not having it in the end, he had like a large chicken escalope in batter, some boiled potatoes with crispy coating and sour croat (however you spell it) it looked so much nice than it sounds snd hes reccomendation is you all try the polish kiosk at the top of the galaxy in the food court. nest to the fish and chips and mc DS.

after playing on the arcade for a bit, he one my little girl a teddy bear, really we was just trying to spend all our shrapnel we had ammassed. we stopped off for a ice cream one last time, i had 2 scoops of cookie stuff in a waffle cone, you all know a waffle cone right back home? well do yourselves a favour and just point at it lol me asking for a waffle cone led to the two polish girls pissing themselves at me as if i was mad. slightly embarassing ha.

we headed home, tryna waste as much time as possible without spending any money we just hit all the side streets.. after about 16:00 both tired and hot we grabbed some water for the rooms and just signalled a taxi to take us back to atrium. turns out were about 3 mins away in the wrong direction and the taxi was about 10 zloty.

now im back in my room sorting my case out so i dont have to do it in the morning, one final dinner in the atrium. back up to my room this evening, feeling a bit weary today, and i think its probably from the excitement of this trip and after all the nervous expectations, its coming to a close and as we all usually find, nothing is ever as bad as you think.

maybe one final update from me before i go to sleep, if not tho i am travelling from here to berling tommorow at 10:30am. need to check in at berlin for 13:10 and then fly back to gatwick. by time the hours differemce is taken away, i grab my luggage, i should be picked up from gatwick around 17.00 uk time and home half hour later.

one random thought i forgot to day is Dr clark told us usually for the gyno ops, her best nurse works the night shift and she speaks english. however like all things she cannot be around for every gyno op and we were just unlucky. so you guys may find yourselves better off than us, altho our non englsh speaking nurse was just fine and will look after you well.

laters guys.

Chris

Yesterday afternoon was spent packing my stuff, watching laptop and the heading down for a final pizza at the atrium. I settled my bill with reception as I'd put all my meals, pots of teas, couple choccy bars from mini bar on my room. 125zlottys (25quidish). Then a final little walk to stretch our legs and I was back in my room for the night to chill & get a good night sleep for the day of travelling home.

So today is Friday, my last breakfast at the atrium in a min and say good bye to my new mate Aaron. He's off straight after breakfast to be taken by a taxi to Szczecin airport and fly back to standstead. He's going work this afternoon back home. Lol nutter.

Then I'm gna just gna slowly have a shower check iv got all my stuff and head down to hopefully be picked up at 10:25! I emailed Jeremy to just confirm yesterday morning that my taxi did be here but as usual no reply. Ill let u all know tho wen I'm bk home, things have gone as Jeremy said so far (definitely not to a T, but in the general direction) so not worried.

Seemed an age away to be sat here ready to go home even last weekend, but with the exception of yesterday time has flied. And iv had a good "holiday"

All the best
Chris

Brilliant report Chris and judging by your pics, excellent results.

Glad you enjoyed your time over there - I was alone but do look back on it fondly.

The recovery is a bit of a rollercoaster so be prepared.  I still have some scar tissue although nothing like as bad as the original glands.

Congrats for getting it done, thanks for the updates and all the best from here.

Thanks mate. Very happy with results thus far. Obviously prepared for the scar tissue roller coaster ahead but am firmly aware that 6-months-1year will be my recovery complete.

The log has actually helped me with something to do and pass the time.

All the best

Final part lads.

Friday, my interglobus bust was promptly outside the the hotel at 10:20. it took me to the interglobus shop/waiting place, where the driver told me wed be departing at 11am for berlin shonefield airport and were waiting for the other passengers to arrive. couple hours later, after a nice nap i was at berlin airport. i have taken pics of the place where you wait for that interglobus bus to take you to sczecin so you are a little confused like i was.

i checked my luggage in, went thru passport control. i was patted down and asked them to be gently as i had surgery! think they were slightly worried my compression vest was a suicide bomber or something dodgy! anyway no hassles, got thru to the otherside had a bite to eat from a italian fresh sandwhich place, theres also a irish pub and burger king etc duty free. boarded my easy jet plane at 3:30 and lovely flight back to the uk, gatwick.

Nice to be home, see my family. still no pain or swelling in the chest. one weird thing iv noticed from surgery, iv got a little water retention, sock marks on my legs, and long sleeved shirt  marks on my arms etc, not sure if this is a side from anaethestic or just the geeral reaction to surgery trauma.

i will upload pics like the following, on monday i will put up 1week post op. then i will put up 6week post op. at that point i will hit the gym and put up pics in a further 6 weeks (12weeks post op)finally i will put up 6 month post op pics to give an idea of nearly the final result. i will be sending dr clark the 6week and 6month post op pics.

today iv changed to my macom, for me with a slim waist the -- bandage just slipped down to much and was compressing my chest enough, the macom feels sooo much better. ill really start massaging on monday for as long as possible, havenet really done any yet but cant feel any scar tissue yet. jsut want my stitche to be really strongly sealed before i go to work on them. iv stopped the supplied pain killers as of last night. (fri). i will finish the whole antibiotics course for a further 5days and religously applying the ointment and disifecting the stitiches after showering.

i will check this site most days, so any questions im happy to answer. ill get those last few pics up very soon. take it easy guys

chris

Loved your write up mate!

The things I'm most worried about is getting taxis and stuff to and from the clinic and then getting food and stuff. Is it hard to communicate where you want to go with the taxi drivers?

Also, are you allowed to bring your antibiotics and oils onto the plane in your carry-on luggage? I'm not bringing a regular suitcase you see, and I don't want the stuff taken off of me when I try to come back from Poland
