puffy nipples..what can I expect from surgery?

I am 175 lbs and 6'1. Good shape. Developed puffy nipples around the puberty stage.  What can I expect as a outcome if i go through surgery?  Dr. Pensler...I just set up a consultation to see you today.  Is there hope to have them flatten out?  Im 26 and Im hoping to hear I can take my shirt off again in public.

Most patients with puffy nipples can expect a very nice outcome in most cases.  The nipples flatten out and the areolae shrink to a more normal size.  On rare occasion, if the nipples are very puffy with large areolae, the skin might seem redundant for a while or even require later peri-areolar reduction.  This is not so common.
