I'm 15 and I've been working out for the past few months. I used to be chubby when I was around 13 and that's when my puffy nipples started developing. I've been doing decline flies, dips, and 30 minutes of jogging daily. I've cut 500 calories from my daily intake and now it's around 1,200 calories. I'm 5'8 and weight 134 pounds. Is it just puberty gyno or just excess fat?

It your age and size I would have to agree! Don't do steroids either! For that mater don't do any drugs unless required to improve your quality of life and controlled by a doctor.

That is not fat -- it is a small amount of breast tissue directly under the nipples.  No amount of diet or exercise will get rid of it.  Since it has just started, it may possibly disappear by itself -- just be patient.  If it remains the same for another year or two, and if it bothers you, then consider a consultation with a surgeon.

Those are different types of operations.  Gyne surgery, even on apparently "small" or "minor" gyne is just not that simple.  Trust me, I have struggled with some seemingly "simple" cases myself.

Therefore, would strongly recommend a plastic surgeon, and preferably a plastic surgeon with experience in gyne surgery.

The best chance you have to get a terrific result is with the first (and hopefully only) operation.  Do your homework.

Thank you doc! This has been making me so stressed for the past month. Also, is there any exercises to hide the puffy nipples? Such as decline flies or incline flies? And should I be hesitating to buy the drug, nolvadex, because I heard that it stops the growth of gyno.

Unfortunately, there are no exercises that will ameliorate puffy nipples.  And definitely would not self-medicate with any medication.

Best advice is to watch and wait for as long as you wish -- there is no rush.  In the meanwhile, you can help your contours by wearing a snug compression garment.
