Stay in NJ or go to NYC for Surgery?

I recently consulted with Dr. Cozzone and Dr. Baxt, both located in Bergen Cty NJ.  One told me my problem was glandular, and would require excision, lipo and drains, and the other told me I would get great results with only lipo as it was mostly fat.  People are telling me to go to NY to get other opinions.  I don't understand how there could be such a difference of opinion between the two doctors-has anyone had experience with these two doc's and is there anyone to recommend in NY?
