Gyne procedure?...

Hey,

Im 18 and want gyne surgery, im pretty sure i have it (well i know it:)) and want to know what the procedure is.

I am not able or willing to pay for it (going to uni in sept.) and wanted to ask how you go about the process?

Im going to book an appointment with my GP, so i assume i have to persuade him to refer me to the NHS right?

I hear you guys talking about specific surgeons? Is that only for private that you can chose who does the surgery?

And finally, how long on average would you say it took you to get surgery done from your initial consultation?

i havent heard of anyone being able to choose their surgeon on the NHS, i wasnt able to choose mine.

from my initial consultation with the NHS it took about 9 months, they said it can take up to about a year sometimes to have the surgery.

good luck with the GP anyways.
