I think most guys have this same problem! I'm not sure where your located, but I know here in the states you need to get a non-profit tax number to do this or you could end up with a big tax bill in the end. There was just that situation here in Minnesota during the government shut down for a fund raiser for a beating victim and they could not hold it until the shut down ended to get their paperwork done.
