Hello, I am a 15 year old male teenager looking forward to having a Gynecomastia surgery in the Saifee Hospital in Mumbai. I have a few questions like Can i get general anaesthesia instead of local?(the feeling of the cutting and removing the tissue would be just too weird) and Also Am i going in too early for this surgery? Should i wait for some more time? If i have my surgery now will the breasts come back? Please answer as soon as possible  ??? ??? ???

You should be able to have general anaesthetic as as far as I know, most gynecomastia surgeries are done with the patient under but you'd have to ask the surgeon for a concrete idea.

Personally, I'd have loved to of had the surgery done at 15 as although the general advice is that wait till you're older to see if it disappears naturally, I don't think that really matters as at the time it's pretty demoralizing.

I'd also suggests that breasts could come back if you carry a high level of estrogen but I'm not a surgeon so again, it's best to ask whoever is in the Mumbai hospital for advice there.

Thank You for your suggestion. :) I am getting an appointment to meet the doctor in december because currently i am staying in Dubai as an NRI. I will listen to what he suggests me to do. I mostly think he is going to make me go through surgery and i am going to this specific surgeon as I have been told by other people that he is a good one. :) Once again, thanks for taking time in replying to my queries. :D
