I've done my surgery exactly 1 year ago(both lipo and gland).I am not really satisfied with the results. In the chest area especially in the nipple area there are hard lumps that can be felt if you pinch them with your fingers. There are lumps spreading from the nipple to the armpit zone and i am sure enough I haven't had such problems before my surgery. That's why i think those hard lumps might be scar tissue.

I went to a consultation with my surgeon and in his opinion the results are good and there is nothing else what he can do for me.

i will attach  a few photos so you can tell your opinion about the result(what you really think about my chest). If those lumps are scar tissue is there any way to get rid of them?i heard about those injections but as i told you my doctor thinks i am fine.Is it possible to get those injections from another random plastic surgeon? Thank you.

I know it is hard for you to tell the problem only by photos but your precious opinion and advice really count for me these days.

It's always difficult to comment in these cases without the benefit of the before photos and a physical examination. The front looks OK ,the photos of the left side might indicate retained tissue but a physical exam would be helpful.I would like to see if I could feel any retained tissue.

Thank you DrPensler ! As i said every opinion counts for me now.Too bad i am too far away from your cabinet ... About the retained tissue i' have done an ultrasound 1 month ago and the doctor said i have no gland and it looks normal.I question myself what can make my chest look like that if the ultrasound says i have no gland left...maybe the scar tissue...i really don't know

Yes there is firm tissue and it feels like hard lumps . Sometimes you can grab just one lump with your fingers. There is like a ''road'' full of such tissue from the nipple to the armpit zone and i don't remember having  that problem before surgery. I really Thank you DrPensler.

The most common reason for a lump under the areola following surgery (assuming the nipples were flat after surgery and the gland tissue had been appropriately removed) is scar tissue.  Scar tissue may feel firm or soft.  The good news is that proper injection with cortisone can often make it disappear.

Best to consult with your surgeon again to discuss this issue.

So as I understand your situation  you are one year out. The issue is quite simply is there retained glandular tissue or is the firmness scar. Scar will soften and diminish with time glandular tissue will not reduce. See what happens over the next few months and if you are not happy arrange to see someone with experience who can give you a second opinion.I doubt the firm  area is spreading that would be unusual.
