The vest is making bulge near my arm area. Is this normal???

Just to let you know I have had surgury and now its day four.

I'm quite happy with the results.

The vest is keeping my chest flat but is making a little bulge on the:

airpit and arm area.

This is just above the where the surgucial vest is. This is on both the left and right side.

Will the swelling go down?

Is this normal?

The swelling will go and this is normal, but try to pull the vest over the lump to try and push it down.

It's been 10 day and the bulge is rock solid. This is the left arm but the bulge on the right arm has decreased.

I still have little bit of solid tissue there, two months post op.

Does the scar tissue go in a year or two?

I just want realistic expectations so then I know if I have to call Mr Levick or not.

Yes. 6 months to a year. Read the information you were given prior to your op and other threads on here. It has been discussed hundreds of times.

I'm discovering more new lumps popping up. It this normal???

Thanks for the advice. I now know it takes around 6 to a year. This is all new info to me.

Does any one know when I can start driving again?

3 weeks is around the time the swelling and lumps come out in numbers so don't worry. This is normal.

You can start driving after 48 hours but it really does depend on how you feel. I started driving after a week.
