Tightened the binder earlier on and had a good look in the mirror (btw it's a very strange feeling completely removing the binder!!), still very flat, almost concave! I'm hoping it will fill out a little as it does look slightly odd but most likely because of what I was used to seeing there beforehand and the effects of the compression

I have had a few strange sensations, tingling nipples, some 'pulling' sensations, chest sometimes feels cold and numb and sometimes get burning sensations, all normal I've read? They don't cause any discomfort or pain or anything, just feels more strange than anything.

Your chest will fill out somewhat over the next few months so don't worry.

The weird sensations are also normal...chest finally felt like part of my body again after 5 weeks though the nipples are still numb.

Yeah it does, I'd say I'm feeling 75% of my normal self atm (minus the boobage obviously lol)

Had a sneak this morning still a bit concaved not much bruising bit tender under the pits and the right nipple sometimes think it might be the binder rubbing roll on summer

Yeah defo the binder... drives me crazy sometimes digging in right where its most tender. Indeed, can't wait for the summer, going to be wicked wearing what I want and not being paranoid about the moobs!

Day 8 post op

So this is the second day wearing the compression vest, much more comfortable! I'm still wearing the binder thing at night. I haven't noticed any major swelling or anything since switching which is good. Bruising is minimal and fading. Mobility is getting better every day. I can now easily put on a tshirt or socks without any discomfort. No pain whatsoever now Having that first proper shower on day 6 was bliss... I didn't want to get out!!

So I'm really impressed with the results so far, still very flat at the front, a little swelling around the sides and by my arm pits which is making it look a bit odd but I'm sure it will settle with time. My nipples have scabbed over a bit, most likely from rubbing on the vest/binder. Still numb to touch and get some weird sensations from time to time but nothing to worry about.

I emailed Paul with an update and some photos yesterday, he said the results look to be better than average at the moment and bruising looks less than average & that I can expect a good result once it all settles down.

So I've attached a couple of after photos - let me know what you think

Wish I'd got that vest but I was in between sizes so got a macom one how long you having off work
