Glad you're happier now.
I saw in your initial post you said you couldn't think of why you should pay ~ £5k for Karidis or other top UK Dr, for a "simple procedure" - which you ended up having twice (and another op after that) in Eastern europe after the surgeon messed up your chest the first time round.
I was booked for Adam K, and I'm proud to say I decided not to skimp on surgery. It's one thing to say you're happy to save a few grand in a trade off for some quality. It's another thing completely to say you get the same quality for 20% of the price.
As for reviews, one of the reasons I decided to cancel my booked surgery (which I'd already spent £100 on booked flights) to Poland was because I personally witnessed bad reviews disappear from the internet. Too many alarm bells. That's all I will say.
1) There is no guarantee you will heal perfectly the aesthetic sense with any cosmetic surgical procedure. You WILL have scar tissue and swelling and this MIGHT not break up or dissipate evenly or symmetrically on both sides. My revision was very minor and a couple of people thought I was mad to getting it done because my chest looked great to them after the first op - I am a perfectionist though and currently it's looking like this second trip was a resounding success. Saying they 'messed up' first time is absurd.
2) I haven't seen a surgeon who HASN'T had people go back for revisions, Karidis and Levick included.
3) Haematoma's can happen, especially when you're going through old scar tissue. People have had it happen under Karidis knife too (
see this thread for example) It was a complication but it was dealt with immediately because you stay in the ward the first night, get checked in the morning and go back the night morning. Judgement should be placed on how complications are handled and mine was dealt with immediately, comprehensively and successfully.
4) Having been to the surgery twice I have seen it's always busy, has a lot of repeat customers praising the work and the FaceBook group always has a lot of positive feedback. I also receive emails now and then from people who have been there based off seeing this thread and are happy with their results, they just don't have an account or post on this forum. I don't doubt there are people unhappy with their results, law of averages. Worth bearing in mind the surgery just goes about their business and their online presence is, as far as I can tell, handled almost entirely by a third-party. They're massively popular for a reason.
5) I don't spend much time on here but I've seen enough before/after pics to know mine don't look any different to others I've seen, my scars are pretty much impossible to see, no cratering. I don't know how it could be any better. It's 100% a simple procedure compared to something like a tummy tuck where there's significant removal of both fat and skin.
So with all that in mind, I'm
