That is damn near enough to make me swear off surgery for sure. Looks like the recovery would be long and painful - how was it in reality? Has it been long enough to know what the results are like?

Geez, my hernia surgeries were a painful recovery, and they didn't cut me open near that much...

Well your typical gyno surgery is like under nipple or through nipple etc.  For me since I had lost 170 pounds if they had done normal gyno surgery it would have left me with side flaps like a bat.  So Bilateral mastectomy left me with flat chest no flaps.  Like a start over.

Here is post op 5 days

Yours is a typical condition when there is massive weight loss.  The skin stretches out, the breasts droop, the nipples are way down and the entire chest is distorted.  In cases such as this, extreme problems require aggressive surgery -- which you had.  And you seem to be healing well.

I think it would be informative if you could post your pre-op photos so that others on this forum could understand the major transformation that has occurred.

I do similar types of surgery in cases where it is indicated.

Glad to have been of help.  Hope all your healing goes well.

If you could post some of your experiences about the surgery, I think it would be very helpful to others on the forum.
