Bra Question

I an about a 38b and have been using Danskin Now sports bras for more than a year. They do a pretty good job stopping the annoying bounce. One drawback is the racerback straps showing around the neck of tshirts. Can anyone suggest similar bras with other straps that cant be seen? would a minimizer work?

I use to use just my size front  closure  minimizer bras that worked well because they do close in the front instead in back. They do have regular straps though.

I like the Panache Porcelain and Freya Deco bras.  I know that an underwire, molded cup is not for everyone but the bras generate plenty of support for my 38Gs with a smaller, less noticeable band.

Thanks for the input. Does the minimizer stop the bounce as well as a sports bra?

I never used a sports bra, but my guess would be yes or even better! I'm 46H but when I was wearin the minimizer I was wearing a 50DD and I didn't bounce or juggle at all and it made me look much more smaller. There is a picture in stories "my story after all these years" 1st. page, then you can see a picture with the new 46H in "I'm bigger then I thought" in acceptance!

Littleguy: Thanks for the Danskin Bra info. I found me a couple that are on sale and everyone I talked to says Danskin is great for bras.
Bob: Thanks for the minimizer info as "I feel" I am too noticeable at work and do not want to embarrass anyone by having my "guests" project too much. I did find a Glamoresse sports bra that is"the puppy's pajamas". It fits and feels great and is sooo comfortable, however...it lifts my breasts and makes them stick out. That is why I am going with the minimizer.

" She said "your wearing a bra to be more comfortable, .right? " then why don't you wear a more comfortable bra?  I took.her advice and I have been happy and . comfortable ever since.

I gotta say this as I've been thinking about it for awhile! You have posted several pictures with that red bra and now that tan color bra. You have said you are a G but those bras look much smaller then a G and look like padded bras. I've looked at those and compared them to the picture of the one with me in that black bra in acceptance "I'm bigger then I thought" and don't understand how your bras can look so small!


Most of us have posted pictures of the size breast that we are dealing with! You can go to stories and on "my story after all these years" the first page has pictures of both of my breast. Being you are supposedly the same size as I am, it would be interesting to see the size of your breast without the bra, because you don't look near as big with one on!

Check out the moving comfort vero ab.  Its a sports bra but encapselates however it is slightly padded  and supportive aka holds them up.  BTW im a 38b. 40a same size.  They may enhance a tad under tight
clothing..

Sofa: Thanks for the heads up on the Moving Comfort bras. Only problem is, they do not make them in a 44B. Good effort, thanks!

The idea of them being held up instead of squashed sounds interesting. May have to look into getting something like this.

The relief when held up/supported vs. squished is hard to describe. As I said before the weird thing for me was that in a well fitting support bra I am less aware of my breasts, not more aware even if the curve of the cup makes the breasts more obvious.

I love the support but just cannot get around having the "guests" being so prominent. I know others see them as they cannot be entirely disguised or hidden, it is just that not everyone here at work knows I have the "guests". I was able to hide them for years but not now as within the last 6 months they have been on a growth spurt. I even tried wearing a regular, very comfortable bra under my standard compression sports bra. It worked ok but was on the tight side and less comfortable than either one by themselves. I am at work and have the sports bra on, it no longer can hide what it contains but as others get used to what they see, if done incrementally, I can slowly allow my noticeable "assets" to be more obvious and not shock people by a sudden "release" of the "guests". Oh well, it will work out.

If I may be so bold as to correct you, your "guests" are going to be with you for the rest of your life unless you opt for surgery. So why not call them what they are "breasts"?

Some suggestions from someone who is 5' 8" 165lbs and a 38C (and I am beginning to push a 38D), minimizing sports bras work as will the correct bra. Wear shirts with pockets on both sides and stripes verses solid colors. Purchase several sports jackets, linen jackets are actually comfortable to wear when it is hot and humid, besides they will make you look great.

There are many ways to keep your breasts comfortably under control and inconspicuous. As for the occasional discomfort, sorry but get used to it, most women have it at one time or another, you (and I) are not going to be any different.

Tiger-Paws: I never looked at from that point. You are correct and the "guests" are here to stay. I guess a lot of little attitude and nomenclature corrections would go toward helping my personal viewpoint on what I have on my chest, and it is not a freckle. Well here goes, my breasts, girls, assets, "twin peaks" (crazy show but interesting), are no longer guests and have taken up permanent residence since going under the knife is not going to happen. Does that mean I have to throw a party for the new residents?
