Hey Charlie, hopefully the fluid isn't as bad and will resolve on its own. I hope mine will too :). Yea I don't mind not showering too. For 20years grief and 4400 quid, I'm happy not to shower for a whole week ;-). And yes you're so sore too. I'm just able to walk up and down the stairs ok and its day 4 post op.

I must be healing well then. Today is my 3rd day post op and im feeling good. Im able to walk without discomfort but still with limited range of motion because of the tubes. Im at the beach right now getting some fresh air and im seeing lots of shirtless guys with gyno but wasnt aware of it. Maybe they're just confident I guess? Oh well i do agree that general recovery seems quick but not the appearance of the chest. Mine still look really flat now but still happy not having to worry what to wear. Prior to surgery i thought i have huge pec muscles underneath but i was wrong, theyre all breast tissues lol

Lol. You're doing great man. On the beach? Wow! I suppose having drains put in means you don't have to compress as much? I may be wrong. Dr levick does not use drains but does require compression so it can be quite uncomfortable to move about etc.

6 days post op pics...
Right breast has little fluid and was bigger moob. Some creasing and cratering but not bad at all. Left side seems perfect.
Any comments?

Massive improvement, my left side is also perfect. It's hard to see on the picture but   I think I can see the fluid you mention. Still early days, I'm going to carry on with the binder at nights till 14 days post op then send some more pics in to Dr Levick.

Hey Charlie, recovery is slow lol. I've now accepted there's fluid in my right side so might go to have it drained on Tuesday. Left side has very little fluid only noticeable when I flex. Other than that still lots of bumps everywhere. Getting easier to move around though. Can lift arms ok now

Similar to me, a lot more movement but still taking it easy. Continuing with the binder at nights to try and shift the bit of fluid. If not Dr Levivk said I might have to get it drained at the end of the week. Don't really want to go to the local gp for this. What compression vest did you get?

Yea I think the fluid will take many weeks to shift with compression alone. Dr levick said Gps should be able to drain easily as its like a blood test being done. I got Macon 2070. This is the short one not the 2070L. Found the 2070L very uncomfortable in stomach area as I got it in a smaller size. However chest area was perfect so I got the 2070 instead. The 2070 does  roll up a bit at the ends but it still does the work in chest area so I don't mind

I found the 640 made my stomach stick out like I was 6 months pregnant, managed to get a refund on that and bought 2070L. So far so good , don't think I could of gone any smaller without being uncomfortable as you mention.
Keep us posted with the fluid , does look straight forward , I was watching a video on YouTube today about it lol

Got fluids drained today at hospital. Apparently surgery doesn't have qualified nurses  for it lol. Anyway just right breast was aspirated - 55ml out. Nurse said left fluid was too low to be drained and best to see if body reabsorbs it on its own.

Great stuff mate :) did you send done more Pics to Dr Levick ? Did he tell you to go and get it drained? My fluid has definitely reduced over this last week. There is still some present as I can see it move as I run my fingers across. Just wondering now if I carry on with my compression regime to see if it goes on it's own or go back and get it drained?

Yea I sent him pics and he said it might go on its own or if I wanted I could get it drained. I had fluid right from the hospital, I remember the binder wasn't tight enough due to the cooling pads in there and Dr levick did tighten it and said we need to get that fluid down lol. So it's always been there and glad I got it drained today. I know I might need to drain again but it's really easy, takes 15mins. Actual draining is 2minutes. The rest is just the nurses reading the legal print and disclaimer to you lol
