Hello there!

I’ve been a lurker on this forum for quite a while and about a week and a half ago I finally got gyno surgery with no problems. Got drains removed about 5 days ago with no complications as well.

As I’m changing my bandages daily I keep wondering about the appearance of my nipples. In a way to me, it seems that the doctor “tucked” or folded the nipple to attach my skin to the nipple with sutures.

I’m wondering if this scar/indentation will smoothen our over time or will it remain tucked as in the photos ive attaches?

Thanks in advance!

Its a bit early to really know what will happen. I do not like to use drains as an aside. Often these problems take care of themselves with time.

Can't really tell without a photo but it's too early to make any judgements. Follow your surgeon's instructions.

I don't think the photos are especially bad, so I'm figuring that it looks better by now.  If not, post new photos for a more informed response.
