Pre-Operation apointment

Hi all,

Just found out that I have my pre-op apointment on 11/1 and my surgery is scheduled for 11/4. I wanted to ask the guys who have gone through this what to expect at your pre-op? Do I have to take my shirt off again for more examinations or more pictures?

Yeah I guess I should have been more clear. I saw this doctor about 2 months ago and went through the whole consultation and examination and they had sent in the paper work to the insurance company to see if they would cover it and as usual they took their time (about a month and a half) to decide that they werent going to cover it which wasnt a big surprise just wished they would get their act together sooner!

This is a pre-op after the consulation on 11/1 and you mentioned blood work? I assume this might be what I am going in for. What are they checking for with the blood test? Can they not go ahead with the surgery if somethign weird comes back with the results?
