age 25
weight 170lbs
height 5ft 11 to 6ft

Hello, I’m very thankful for the platform. I have been trying to lose weight
And It’s been so hard to lose weight under my chest.
Even with a lot of pec workout ..
I still do have some belly fat which also doesnt seem to go away.
Finally when I checked online gyno comes up on many links and forums.
So I started suspecting I might have it. I dont really feel a “lump” right beneath the areola as they ask u to check. Everything feels like tissue as if I’m grabbing belly fat.
I do however feel like there’s a very small pea a little deeper much closer to the muscle. I’m not sure about the anatomy of things there. And I can’t find a schematic Illustration of where the lump should be. Or how big it is to be considered gyno. But I found that the areola and the nipple are pretty loose (just skin when you pinch them) and nothing directly underneath attached to the skin.
I’m very confused I hope you can clarify once and for all if I do have gyno or if I’m just fat.
And if I do a lump as small as that and as deep as that could it go away with medication like tamoxifen. or as I heard curcumin ?
But I need to know if it is gyno or not before I take anything.
I don't take medication or steroids of course.
Gained weight over 3 years I've been Trying to lose it for the past year and a half which led me to this question. Please help me I’m desperate

Feeling for "breast" tissue in order to decide if you have gynecomastia is truly a fool's errand.  Gynecomastia is basically extra tissue on a male chest, which in most cases is breast tissue interspersed with fat, much like intertwined fingers.

Yes, you do appear to have puffy nipples and excess tissue on the lower part of your chest, which is gynecomastia.

Best recommendation is to search for a gyne specialist in your area or consider traveling for such expertise.  There is no rush -- do your homework.  And finally, do not base your decision on fee alone.  The best chance for a great result is the first operation -- after that, everything is trying to play "catch up."  Remember, you will enjoy the results of your new chest long after the original fee is forgotten.

Good luck!

Thank you for your reply. my nipples aren't very puffy but the areola has a somewhat big diameter.
Do you mean that it is not possible to tell the difference between fat and breast tissue ? isn't the presence of a small pea sized lump an indication? even tho it doesn't seem to be right under the nipples. could be in fact just fat tissue ? Or you sraight up can't tell the difference by feeling ?
