Hello all,

who knows this syndrome or is maybe even affected himself or knows affected persons?

see:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aromatase_excess_syndrome

In German "Aromatase Exzess Syndrom"
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aromatase-Exzess-Syndrom

This is a very rare disease. I myself have this genetic defect and would like to get in touch with people affected and exchange information about it.

It all started at the age of 8. My nipples and then breasts started to grow. I had my first breast removal at the age of 9. Three years later my breasts started to grow again, so at the age of 13 I had my breasts removed again.
Today I take an aromatase inhibitor to balance my hormones.

Who has had a similar or the same experience? Who has been diagnosed with aromatase excess syndrome? Please feel free to send me a private message, I would be happy to hear from you.

Kind regards

Thanks for sharing this - in all my own research I hadn't discovered it!

It could possibly explain those of us who've had gynecomastia since our teens, and also why some of us with gyno experience more general physical feminization than others.
