Do kenalog injections help break up the scar tissue beneath incisions?  My surgeon did a great job removing the gyno and I am very happy.  There is some scar tissue directly beneath the incision that is not painful itself, but it presses/rubs against the underlying tissue and causes some discomfort.  I am wanting to get rid of it.  I massage it daily, but it does not seem to be reducing it.  Does this scar tissue ever go away/break down?  I am 4 months post-op.

Kenalog shots are very effective for scar tissue build-up.  Discuss this with you surgeon because it needs to be done correctly.
