I have not gone swimming since my early teens, to avoid the discomfort of showing off my breasts in public. I had enough forced public viewing of my breasts with "skins" teems in school gym classes. I remember being so very self conscious with summer swimming classes during 14 to 15 years old. That was the last time.

I fully agree with Busty that they really should have been covered up with a swimming bra top for all the reasons he outlined, I just would not have had the nerve to do so then or now. I feel "safe' in my daily bra wearing with the pattern button down shirts I wear, and do not give it a second thought in public. But wearing a swimming bra top is even more obvious than a tight white tee shirt over a white bra.

In school one of the constant lines asked me; "When you go swimming do you wear a one piece or a two piece" A variation of the constant reminder that I needed to wear a bra by others.
If the bra fits, wear it.

Oh God, I remember the teasing, too, growing up.  Yes, certain activities were torture, like PE locker rooms.

The thing that always got to me was that the kids teasing me were right. I needed to wear a bra as much as any other girl in my class. I used to wish I could show them that they were right. And maybe they would even admire how good I looked in a bra and how completely I filled the cups of my bras.

It would be so nice to go to the pool or beach and not feel self conscious my breasts contained in a nice supportive swimming bra top that also provided modesty.  In fact, maybe even feel proud everybody could see how full busted I was in my swimming bra top.
