New laws coming

My name finally came up on the waiting list for an apartment in Oregon. I responded by telling them I am definitely interested and would like to start finishing up the application process. Hopefully I can get a July move-in date but I'll work around their schedule. I already have a quote a $1250 to move my stuff which is really good.

I attend a PACE all inclusive care for the elderly Medical Centre here in Texas, and they have the same type in Portland. I will have to work out the details tomorrow at transferring my insurance from Texas to Oregon. I have an appointment with the social worker in the morning.

I am assuming that the PACE program in Oregon will be much better than the PACE program in Texas. Hopefully it won't be a "religious oriented" facility like the one here.

Holy Mother F*ing Poopers!!!   I have a psychologist friend who worked for PACE in NM.. Lasted 1 year and then kablam... OUT!!!  She couldnt take what she saw as one of the most corrupted profit driven companies she ever worked for. 

Birdie... Defiantly GO!..  for your own peace of mind, get while the getting's good!

This one has fundamentalist Christian music revivals and devotionals every Thursday with occasional guest ministers. Their required values clash with my beliefs and values. 

It's quite irritating!

I made the mistake of asking for a July move in date. The social worker called and talked to the building manager and she was hoping for May. She has already skipped me and was calling others on the list.

We told her we would make her schedule work and she said if she doesn't get all the units rented right away she will call back but we need to jump on it right away.

The social worker is getting everything ready for a very quick move if it presents itself.
