Wow!  It's been over a year since I first added to this thread.....and over a year in bras!  I must admit that I was very self-conscious when I started this journey, but now it's just another thing to put on in the morning and take off at night.

For all of you who are just starting to wear bras (and for those who are considering it), I just have to say that the initial uneasiness is worth it.  My neck strain is gone and my posture has improved.  The most important components are 1} self-acceptance, 3) the support  (no pun intended) you get from your family and friends - and 3) accepting the fact that no one else matters.

I only wish I had started wearing them sooner.

Problem?     What problem?

Congrats on a year. Its amazing how many reads posts get and thanks for the updates. You might want to do a post on your perspectives and what you have found, it might help others who are really struggling.

NoWorries25,
I'm so glad you have found comfort in wearing a bra.  As you said, once acceptance is gained in our own heads it's easy to put one on and enjoy its benefits.  It's the social stigma and outside pressure that holds men that need support back from wearing and enjoying the comforts of.

Good for you!

It’s been years since I started wearing full time and mostly don’t ever think about it anymore, but every once in awhile I’ll check myself out in the window or glass door when I’m out and about.
Tired of being uncomfortable so other people are comfortable.

I have been full-time for the last 10 years. I do not regret one day. A bra is just a tool that I use for comfort and appearance. I have tried to master this tool to get full benefit from it. There's many of us who can and do make use of this tool
