I have and Endo. who wants me to get a mastectomy because things don't "fit" in her world view. or at lest drugs.

I am perfectly willing to keep these and do not want anyone telling me I am "not normal" etc.

Stay mesmerized by them and live life!  Don't be bullied.
That I find out of line.  One who is not looking out for the patients best interest physically or emotionally but rather to make, (Him-Her), feel better.

Shameful.

We, all here who are active, understand and try to lift each other up  emotionally and with knowledge learned.  It is ones own choice on how to resolve an issue or problem.

A Dr.'s recommendation is purely that.  Do whats best for you.  I'm not pushing either way on the issue.  I'm just stating how I deal with things and why.  Any suggestion is purely that.  Mine and a suggestion.

My Psychiatrist has mentioned it to me twice already, saying a double mastectomy would make me feel better about myself. That I need to work harder at "fitting in."

I told her I am happy with my breasts, I can't imagine not having them. And trying fitting into boy mode doesn't fix the fact that I'm intersex. That will always remain. It just places a bandaid over things so that her and my GP are happier. Their happiness is not my concern.

I can’t even imagine cutting off parts of my body unless it is life threatening. My boobs are part of me. No way they are coming off.

I can go braless as I’m not that large, maybe a large B or small C, however almost every day I wear a bra as it’s more comfortable.  But I’m finding I’m getting tired of worrying about which shirt and which bra I “need” to wear.

Last week I just tossed an old tshirt on over a bra and went to the home improvement store.  An employee was answering my questions and it was amusing to watch as he went back and forth between looking at my chest and the product we were talking about.

I’ve purchased 3 bras that have liners and when they’re in, fill me out a little bit more along with one pushup bra.  These are a regular part of my bra rotations.  My thought is I’m continuing to grow, so why not figure out now how I’m going to handle continued growth.

That's a good idea, since in most of us breast growth continues.
A bra is just an article of clothing for people with breasts.

It’s fun to look down and see “boobies!”. Thanks for sharing.
Tired of being uncomfortable so other people are comfortable.
