Slight deviation here.

One thing that most do not realize is the cut of women's shirts are specific for a certain style, where other times they are deliberately not cut a certain way to emphasize.

What am I talking about?

The bottom hemline of most shirts are cut straight. When this occurs the bust will lift the front of the shirt and it becomes instantly recognizable that you have breasts and you get that slightly flurrly like shape at the bottom of the shirt.  Other times a woman's shirt will have extra cloth in front to allow for this and make an even him line when put on.

Had this experience this morning with a tropical style shirt that when first bought clearly showed a straight line downward. Now it curves upward and shows clearly a very female style. There is NO mistaking it. AT ALL!

Getting that simple whisper has to be reassuring.  A confidence booster in a way.  Perhaps more women notice than I, we, think and just don't give it a thought.  As you said, they get it.
It was reassuring and did give me confidence at a time I needed it.

Most women are cool with it. Some are obviously not. But my experience has been that as long as you aren't being a jerk, and just trying to live life, the vast majority will, at the outset, leave you alone about it, because they don't want their breasts or bras to be a point of public conversation, no more than you do. They understand that it's a private matter and move on.

In my case, she had obviously noticed support would be beneficial for me but she didn't see it as her place to point that out to me. After the fact, she recognized that I had taken the step to do something about it and she wanted to acknowledge the effort and give her support. And her support has been most welcomed.

I think that's how most women see it. They understand the challenges of having breasts and how for men it's even harder. They're empathic to it.
Womanhood is not defined by breasts, and breasts are not indicative of womanhood. - Melissa Fabello

I have been offline for several months. Traveled before my wife's knee revision surgery, etc.  She is doing great.

Catching up on posts that have covered many subjects.

I'm down 75lbs over 2 years and BMI of 25.47.  Proportions and 3 miles a day are working.

Unfortunately, I have had to buy a bunch of new clothes.  The pear is now inverted.  There is no hiding the breasts.  A 34" waist with a C cup is harder to hide under a t-shirt.  I tried with a spaghetti strap uni-bra during the summer, with limited success.  At least the forms hide the nipples.  It's cold here, so I am wearing more comfortable bras and the layers are working. Next summer will be another challenge, if I get to 32" waist.

My Jockey briefs were way too big and couldn't stay up.  I have transitioned to size 5 Jockey french cut women's panties.  They work.  At 5'6", I am now buying petite ladies yoga pants for exercise.  They also work and no one notices on my daily walks.

As a side note.  My wife and I met at 17 and were married at 21.  We are 75 and promised to be together in sickness and health.  Growing old is a wonderful adventure, with commitment and love.

how do you explain to your wife that you wear women's clothes my wife understands the bra but panties not so much.
I guess I'm "lucky" being a lifelong petite person. At 5'3" with a size 7 men's shoe made it necessary to find clothes (tops) and shoes that were "almost" male.

My ex-wife went along with it, and my current girlfriend has no problems with it to the extent I wear what's outlined above.

Bras look silly with men’s underwear.  Bras go with panties 😘

Funny but this image is not available for me to view in my region (the UK).  What am I missing?  It must be explicit.

It's an image of thigh length black underwear.  Other than the waist band saying, Victoria's Secret.  If it said Haynes you you would think it were men's.

No big deal

I don't notice a difference to men's underwear.
A bra is just an article of clothing for people with breasts.

Dunno if Victoria secret would also be blocked but here is the link to the actual product page.

Thanks. VS certainly have a wide range of panties to choose from. The high cut ones look lovely but are not secure enough for me. I am looking for ones that fit tight around the legs or have a longer leg so my equipment doesn't slip out!  Any recommendations would be appreciated as I would prefer to switch to panties permanently preferably high waisted panties.
