My wife has become increasingly concerned about the visibility of my breasts so she suggested that I should try a minimiser bra instead of my usual bras.  So she bought me one from Marks and Spencer in my usual size 34D. When I  saw it I was skeptical as it looked just like my regular bras but it  claims to reduce you by upto 1 cup size.  It feels a little tighter than my other bras in the band  but is still surprisingly comfortable and yes somehow my boobs look smaller but they are not compressed.  I think the secret is how the cups are shaped. The cups don't have a vertical seam  like my other bras.  A minimiser bra maybe a good alternative to those awful gynecomastia vests if you don't have concerns about strap visibility.  Next time I wear it I'll upload some pics.

AlfaO,

I have the same issue.  I use a spaghetti strap uni-bra that works well for me.  During the winter months, I wear a regular non-wired bra.  While they are more comfortable, when exercising the straps don't stay on the shoulders.

So, I wear a sports bra.  While it is more separating, it works with layers.  Neither of the exercise bras have any vertical seams, so hide well.

You are singing my song AlfaQ.  Early in my adventure I came upon a minimizing brassiere from Bali and it has been my favorite ever since.  If you've looked at photos I've posted you likely saw one or another of those brassieres.  I'll drop a triptych in at the bottom of this post.

One feature that contributes to the name of these brassieres is that they don't have any sort of padding, even the thin layer that creates the cup shape for every T shirt brassiere.  In addition, as you note, the cups don't have stitching of any kind.  The cup material is designed to create an appealing shape while constraining the breasts.  Some men are concerned about their nipples showing.  That has been discussed on these threads at different times.

This style brassiere is the one I wear most often.  It doesn't hide my breasts but it does a lovely job of constraining.

Here is a link to this particular brassiere.

42C, That bra does work for you.  You look great.

Alfa Q, I'm glad you discovered the benefits of  a well fitting minimizer.  I have the one 42C mentions and a couple from Wacoal.  I enjoy them all.  They don't add bulk yet give you a nice well rounded appearance. It's all in the size and shape of the cup and wire.  They look good and are comfortable. A must for the man who need the support and to be a bit more discreet.

The Bali bra looks very nice. Here is a pic of the red minimiser bra and another of my regulat bras and you can see the difference I think. The minimiser is a 34D and the nude bra is actually 34DD.  I love the 34DD but my wife doesn't like me wearing it out and about.

It looks like a great fit Alfa Q.  I feel the new red one, although a bigger cup size, looks and appears to give you a slimmer bust line.

It's hard for some to wrap their heads around the fact that we do have a big bust and should be wearing support for that.  Perhaps over time she will realize your happiness and comfort while wearing and feel better about it.  Ware it when you can and I'll bet she won't even realize you have it on most of the time.  She already approves and suggested that for you. Then go from there.  As most of us here say.  Layers, patterned shirts dark colors all hide the fact that we're wearing a bra.

Good luck.  looks good!

Thank you for your kind comments.  These waters are tricky to navigate with our partners but the fact that we are still kind and loving people should surely count for much more than the breasts we have developed.  For me it feels natural to support them in a bra
