So the other day at work i was walking down a hallway and was making a turn.  At one end of the hallway were four coworkers, all women, and I turned to say something to someone, and when I turned back, I smashed my right breast against the corner of where I was at. Along with forward movement, it scrapped my breast so hard that I dropped halfway holding it from the pain.  The ladies all winced the same way guys do when they see another guy get hit in the nads.

It took me about a minute to recover and the pain lasted for about 30-40 min.

As I finished up lunch about an hour later, one of the ladies caught me in the parking lot asking me if I was ok.

Not directly saying anything specific I said yes, and she said, that when she saw it, she instantly knew the pain.  The rest also acknowledged the pain, and without saying it, said... welcome to the girl club.

  • Nothing is impossible, merely expensive.
That definitely sounds painful.  My wife has talked about that pain and she said it is intense.

Several years ago, I was using a 24" chainsaw to limb up trees.  It caught a burl and bucked and head hit my right side breast.  I didn't break any ribs, but it took awhile for that breast to recover. Yup, it's painful.  I now wear full body gear when using the chainsaw.

Getting smacked in the boob definitely hurts. Done it many times and I’m sure I’ll do it again☹️

Padded bras definitely help. When I’m doing chores in and outside of the house  I wear one. Learned the hard way.

Well with this going on, I have had to completely switch to women's sizes on coats and jackets because men's will NOT fit!   That point is past now.

Even though I don't have the sharp curves overall, the shoulder and upper bust region means any men's jackets will slide to accommodate the boobs.  So now its just large women's.  Not really complaining, some of the cuts and styles are really cool!

Enjoy yourself Taxmapper. I love that  women's clothes come in such a range of colours. Men's clothes are so drab in comparison.  I trust that you have fully switched to wearing panties?  I love the supportive  high waisted ones that hold me in and slim my stomach.  Panty girdles are great too.

For me bike shorts and sports bras.

Women's jeans also, mens apparently never did fit, but I also have an unusual anterior pelvic tilt and lumbar curve.

I concur. As painful the first is, the second will drop you to the floor.

Well I guess it was my time to experience the "pain".
Not the first but was the most severe.
I was helping a friend with some home projects and took a hard hit to my left breast.  WOW that hurt.  The pain behind the nipple was intense.  I have been having breast pain all week then this.  As the day was ending and I was about to head home he came in for a big man hug and thanked me for the help.  That added to the pain and after I got in my truck for the drive home I had a self moment of cupping, rubbing, and holding.  Today I'm still a bit sore and sensitive and am for the most part back to the normal weekly discomfort.  It's a padded T-Shirt bra day for me today.

Sorry to hear that Parity. We’ve all been there a time or two when our breasts become hyper aware of being there by being hit, knocked, ran into lol. Growing up I always heard women time to time complain how they hurt so bad when grabbed or poked by partners or things. Or how they’re always in the way. It seems goofy back then. Like, yeah..ok it can’t be that bad.

It is lol. I was building a new porch for our home a few weeks ago and went to lift a board up on the deck part and my underboob caught the edge of the board and gave a small ow of sorts. More than not it was just the reality of them being off my chest enough to actually clip a board that wasn’t near my ribs. And when leaning over to install the rail ran my right boob in to the corner of the top rail and let a few words slip out.

I’d like to find those women i scoffed at before and tell them sorry. I get it you’re right lol

Well dude I guess we have to accept it's part of life for us now and learn how to prevent it.  I'm not going to stop doing some of the construction projects I still enjoy.  I am however more mindful of the pain that can happen to yet another sensitive area of our bodies.
