Discrimination

The CNA came by this morning and told me about “talk” at the day-centre. 

For those that don’t know,  I must dress androgynous whilst attending per the revised dress code. Revised because of me.

She overheard participants talking about me. “Guy or girl:, “what bathroom does IT use”  “disgusting they let IT take hormones, look what it did to IT’S body”.

She quickly let them know I’m a nice person,  and they should get to know me before casting judgements.

I get discrimination from both management and participants on a daily basis.

What ever happened to “live and let live”?

I think it’s because everything is political anymore. So people take sides. Their little pea brains can’t think for themselves. Not everyone of course. I think for the most part people really don’t care what others do or are wearing.

Yeah, funny I try my best to dress androgynous at the centre. And the boobs and wide hips are 'au natural', no hormones taken here. 

Pea sized brains start making assumptions.  Ass-uming always starts with ass I guess.

And insecure people act that way. They put down others to make themselves feel better. 95% of what people worry about is total BS. They need to just worry about the other 5% in their own little world and their lives would be much better.

Birdie,  so sorry it is that way for you.  
It's peoples narrow mindedness, ignorance, and lack of kindness and understanding that leads to that type of thinking.  It's popular right now to be outspoken on such things.  Herd mentality.  People puff out their chest when they say that and others go along with it.  As noted makes others feel good about themselves when they can put others down.  Why do you think court TV is so popular?  It's,  See, I'm not like that! I'm better than them!!!  
I can't stand it.  
Sorry.... well not really.  That kind of thing should be stopped by those in charge there.  The CNA should defuse that right away.  There is a way to stop it with kind words.
